Welcome to SaltWiki[edit]

SaltWiki is intended to share current specialist information on salts, damages caused by salts and dealing with salt damage. You are welcome to contribute to this joint venture and to collaborate in compiling SaltWiki as an author. Information about the project you find here.

After completing the DFG project, the research group has founded the association SIK who has been committed to update the contents. The Hornemann Institute of the HAWK is responsible for the technical and graphical maintenance of the portal.

CRYSPOM VI / 2018[edit]

The international workshop Crystallization in Porous Media VI (CRYSPOM VI) to be held in Hamburg, 19-21 September 2018. The workshop will be jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hamburg and SIK (Salze im Kulturgut e.V.).

CRYSPOM workshops focus on fundamental research on crystallization in porous media. The idea of the workshop is to bring together the leading researchers and PhD students to provide for a constructive and open dialogue and to incite collaborations between theorists and experimentalists at an international level.

The important deadlines are:
- May 13 - Abstract submission by e-mail to cryspom@chemie.uni-hamburg.de
- May 31 - Notification of acceptance
- June 30 – Early bird registration
