Climate: Humidity and temperature measurement
The interior climate in a building is affected by several factors, of which the most relevant are the humidity and the air and surface temperature. Fpr a complete characterization of an indoor climate other parameters, such as air currents, air velocity, air exchange and air composition, i.e., presence of harmful gases, are required.
Measuring the climatic parameters, such as humidity and temperature, is critical in elucidating the deterioration caused by salts.
Furthermore, to preserve fragile objects, such as wall paintings, or museum objects, climate control measurements have to be developed to at least minimize, if not eliminate, the deterioration resulting from climactic fluctuations.
