SWBSS 2014[edit]
Third International Conference on Salt Weathering of Buildings and Stone Sculptures
First announcement
The first International Conference SWBSS was held in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2008 and was followed by SWBSS 2011, organised in Limassol, Cyprus.
Together with Salze im Kulturgut e.V. - Fachhochschule Potsdam, Germany, the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) is pleased to announce that the third conference in the series, SWBSS 2014, will be organised in Brussels, Belgium, on October 14th -16th 2014.
The conference aims to bring together conservators, engineers, architects, students and experienced researchers and to contribute to the promotion of research and development within the field of salt weathering of porous materials.
For more information, please consult the conference website (http://org.kikirpa.be/swbss2014/ ) or download the flyer.
Organizer:
Hilde De Clercq, Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, Brussels, Belgium
