"Salt Weathering of Buildings and Stone Sculptures" in short SWBSS is an international conference series, which was established in 2008 and since then meets every three years in different countries. Previous conferences were held in Copenhagen (2008), Limassol (2011), Brussels (2014), Potsdam (2017) and Delft (2021). The aim of the conference is to bring together conservators, conservators, engineers, architects, academics, students and experienced researchers to promote development and research in the field of salt weathering of porous materials. The next conference will be held in Nara, Japan, September 20-23, 2023.
